We lost a great friend and companion in our dog "Misty" yesterday. We rushed her to the emergency vet clinic in Madison this morning. She had an acute onset of abdominal distention. ( her stomach twisted shutting down the flow of blood to the heart and lower extremities ). Our options were limited with her age and over all health. "Misty" was 12 years old
Emily Marissa Laura and myself were there to say our good byes. She went very peacefully with all of us around her. The vet clinic was awesome and appreciated their efforts and support.
She is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are her life, her love, her leader. She will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of her heart. You owe it to her to be worthy of such devotion - Unknown

Condolences on the loss of a family member. Having been there, I can sympathize with you.
So sorry to hear about Misty. It's heartbreaking that our 'best friends' are with us so briefly.
