Headline News:
- The weather has cooled off dramatically over the past week, from the high 90's to the low 70's, so much for extreme temperature training for the MR340. Starting to gather gear and supplies and checking things off. Super Boo is nervous as the clock ticks down.
- Work is completely out of control. Jefferson County has taken a hit with lay-offs, closures and a governor's budget that does not adequately meet the needs of our communities. Long days as we salvage what we can, make the difficult decisions on what we can afford, help those with the greatest need.
- Saw a legend, Bob Dylan at Summerfest, along with Willie Nelson; times are a changing. Hard to put into words, but being there made me feel really good. The concert itself was OK, the experience over the top. It was like getting a cool drink of water on a hot summer's day, after a long long long drive in a hot car, refreshing.

Seeing Willie in concert is always a treat. He has a stage presence that is impossible to describe.
